Renderings Of The 2012 VW Golf 7 Show Long Headlights

New renderings of the Golf 7 for 2012 shows something slightly different to the past models we’ve posted. The new images reveal something slightly similar to the Scirocco in the front, where the back looks a bit more slanted.
Walter de Silva is currently leading design, and he was the man behind the Scirocco, so if this model looks the same — you know why.
Engines will include Twin Drive hybrid technology, for the first time. This means a 1.5-litre diesel engine with three electric motors for a driving range of 48km on electric power only. The fuel rating is expected, or rumoured, to be 113miles per gallon.
There will be petrol and diesel engines available, as well as a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
