VW’s Design Boss Is Losing Sleep Over The Golf 7
Posted on 16. Oct, 2009 by G7 in General
Walter de Silva – VW’s design boss has stated that he is losing sleep over the new Golf 7. de Silva has been very successful at VW, and he has been responsible for many models in the automotive world.
A recent interview states that he is worried about the Golf VII.
“When I think about the Golf VII, I do not sleep at night,” says de Silva.
de Silva has been awarded with the task for the next-generation Golf VII which will be due for 2012. The design for the new Golf 7 will have to be iconic, as well as functional. There must be the correct balance between functionality, and flair.

I hope thar Walter da Silva finds a new startingpoint for the Golf.

This is the most hideous design VW could have ever come up with. Sorry I am a huge VW fan and Drive the Golf 6 GTI and this is definitely not an improvement to what I currently have

i have been driving golf 5 since 2006, i think who ever designed golf 3 to golf 5 had been doin pretty good job the golf 6 looks like polo on steroids, with small engines. now the golf 7 jus look pretty much like the honda civic (space-ship) i am not gonna spend my hard earned cash on it, sorry de Silva.. i think u guys at vw need to get back to ur drawing boards – golf five has been the benchmark and its still top on ma list
